BUNK Utrecht : Location & Architecture
BUNK Utrecht is situated just at a 5 minutes’ walk from Utrecht Central station and Hoog Catherijne shopping mall on foot, at Catharijnekade 9, just over a beautiful canal, in a monumental church. Since it’s situated right in the heart of city center, the location is mostly automobile-free, so our suggestion is to either use a bike or public transport to reach BUNK.
The church foundation still remains intact, while the interiors of BUNK have been redesigned innovatively while keeping the major traces of church architecture intact.
Among many aspects of the former church, the biggest eye-catcher is the grand Quellhorst organ, which catches everyone’s attention and is there in the church from more than 100 years. No wonder, BUNK was awarded ‘Extraordinary Innovative Hostel of the year’ by Hostel World recently.
BUNK Hotel Rooms
BUNK has around 8 types of rooms according to size and budget of the visitors, and ensures that every room irrespective of size and type, has safe, LED Tv, Fast Wifi internet, rain shower, power and usb sockets, ambient lights, blackout curtains and self-check-in facilities.
BUNK Pods
BUNK pods offers you to stay affordable without compromising on your privacy. Pods are just like Hostel rooms but little different. They are like small cabins allocated to single user, and have curtains in front of them to ensure privacy. Each Bunk pod has locker, made bed, blackout curtains, luxury shared bathrooms, towels, power & USB sockets, Free Fast WiFi and self-check-in facilities.
BUNK restaurant Utrecht
BUNK also has a great Restaurant which opens early in the morning and serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and is very popular among visitors and locals. You can also reserve your table online.
